on April 17 Dean Santoro communicated the following:
Although we have suggested a contribution amount of $100, please feel free to contribute at your discretion. What's more important to us is that you all attend and get to spend quality time with one of the up and coming leaders of South Florida and the Republican party.)
It is has been part of the plan of the 'Ron Paul Revolution' that from amongst those of us who have supported Ron Paul's candidacy for the Presidency of the United Sates and who agree that we need to restore constitutional government in accordance with the founders vision, some of us would run for public office to bring that dream to fruition. Thankfully, some have stepped up to the plate. Two people in South Florida have thus far who have demonstrated that they have the requisite knowledge, skills, character and determination to assume public office in the footprints of Ron Paul.
One of them, the subject of this email, is Dean Santoro of Dade County, who is running for the Florida Senate in District 35. Although he lives outside the immediate geographical area of the Ron Paul Palm Beach County Meetup, Dean, who is the founder of the Miami-Dade Ron Paul Meetup, has been a stalwart in the south Florida Ron Paul citizens campaign from day 1, routinely going above and beyond the call of duty in his organizing efforts. In his run for public office (initially U.S. Congress, but now Florida Senate, District 35) he has been very clear and passionate in his public statements expressing his intention to pursue constitutional government in the spirit of the founders and as articulated by Ron Paul.
Dean's Campaign Webiste is at:

He is having a campaign fund raiser this Friday night in Miami. If you click on the event link on the left hand side of his website, you will see all the specific information, some of which is reproduced here:

Amongst those present on Friday are expected to be current members of the Florida Legislature. I want to be there so that I can ask them about the Real ID.
I will be setting up this event as a meetup where we can RSVP, however, it is important that you RSVP INDEPENDENTLY to Charles Ferrante at chucky25@ufl.edu.
This looks like a good opportunity for car-pooling.
