Yes, Laura, I saw that address by Ron Paul shortly after he gave it. A few observations...
  • It was near the end of yesterday's session of the House, with only a dozen members at the most still present, since 99% of them were already off to do what they do best....begin their (two WEEK!!) Independence Day vacation!!
  • He had fire in his belly, his eyes, and his voice!! The Good Doctor is extremely PISSED. Why?? I think it is because he KNOWS that the NeoCon bastards are on the verge of attacking IraN and refuse to be stopped.
  • All any of us can do is pray like crazy that we aren't involved in (or FINISHED with) World War Three by the Fourth of July!!
I will presume that not many members of this Meetup will even seen this reply or Laura's original note, since surely those of you who are still working aren't encumbered like our (non) leaders and likely are at the end of the first week of their 5 or 6 weeks off (with pay) for the July 4th holiday....

This is Ron Paul speaking before the House on a bill before Congress that will legislate MAJOR sanctions against Iran after the 4th of July. It MUST be stopped. Please listen to him about this. We are already in such dire finances because of the spending on the unjustified Iraq war. We can't afford it and it is morally wrong. War costs trillions and destroys the money supply. You think oil costs a lot now. You just wait until we start doing this to Iran.  It is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Please don't sleep through this and write your congressmen about it. I sent another email earlier on how easy that is to do.
