What kind of party are the Illinois Republicans running? The reason that the Democrats have a lock on Illinois is simple: Republicans-in-name-only (RINOS) running the show. The word is today that McKenna will step aside if Congressman Mark Kirk wants to run for U.S. Senate for Roland Burris’ seat. You mean the same Mark Kirk who voted for cap & trade, the largest tax increase in American history? Mr. McKenna, you can keep your RINOS. We need to find true conservatives to run and build the party and support limited government, anti-tax candidates for office. It is going to big money and strategy to bypass the mainstream media. On that note, here’s a news update on someone I’ve been telling you to watch. Word has it that TV personality William Kelly is in negotiations to buy the nationally ranked Windy City Rollers, Chicago's all-female roller derby league. Kelly is the host and executive producer of “William Kelly’s Sportsaholic” on Comcast Sportsnet and a true conservative with a history of anti-tax activism. The rumblings are that he wants to run in 2010. One can only hope. He spoke at the tea party protest, on July 4, in Palatine. You can watch a video of his speech on www.williamjkelly.wordpress.com. You can also see "Sportsaholic" on Comcast Sportsnet this week. Apparently, this was when Kelly started negotiating with the roller derby league. Here’s the website description: THIS WEEK ON SPORTSAHOLIC (Thursday night, at 12:30, on Comcast Sportsnet) All Hell’s about to break loose at the Ivy King Cup Women’s Roller Derby Championships and right in the middle of the chaos is our very own populist folk hero William Kelly. Tonight, join him for a bruised knuckle battle as the vicious Hell’s Belle’s defend their championship title from the underdog Manic Attackers. Who will win?! It’s supercharged women on wheels for your crash course in sports reality. William Kelly’s Sportsaholic! |
