This is very important! Please consider writing to your Illinois
state house rep & state senate rep to help stop the REAL ID
in Illinois! Many states are currently fighting against the REAL
ID, and Dr. Ron Paul is most certainly against it! Here is a link

Real ID has now become a reality and is to go into effect in
May. Many states have received a waiver to allow them to
try to comply with the new ID requirements, but Illinois is
apparently moving forward to allocate funds to implement
REAL ID. Please read Gary Franchi's bulletin below, and
do your part to help stop REAL ID in Illinois! Thank you!

Calling all Illinoisians,

We really have a chance to fight Real ID in Illinois. As of
Feb. 25th, 2008 a bill (HB6105) was submitted by Rep. Michael J.
Madigan, Rep. Gary Hannig, and Rep. Monique D. Davis which would
allocate funds to the Illinois Secretary of State for the
implementation of the REAL ID act in Illinois! If we block the
funding, we block Real ID.

All Illinois residents need to send a letter to both their state
house representatives and state senate representatives to let
them know that you strongly oppose any measure which could lead
to the REAL ID being implemented in Illinois.

Download this form letter, fill in the blanks, print it out,
then mail it to your Illinois representatives:
