Walk to Win Saturday May 17th

The previously scheduled Saturday Meetup has been cancelled for a call to all to attend the DCRP Walk to Win on Saturday May 17th. Read has sent out mail earlier on this and I am just adding the Meetup location for Lewisville.

IN DENTON:

Here is the information that I have on the walk Saturday. We will meet at 3528 Sundown Blvd at 8:45 - 9:00 a.m. To get there take Lillian Miller traveling away from the mall. Sundown Blvd is directly across from the South Branch of the Denton library. The house is the 3rd house past the pond on the right hand side.

There will be donuts and juice and we will begin the overview/Q & A once everyone arrives. You will be working in three man teams with 1 driver and 2 walkers per team. However, I talked to Roy and he thought there would probably be areas where you could drive a couple of teams at one time. I will be at headquarters on Thursday, and hope to get a better feel then. The target houses will be those who generally vote in the general election, but who do not vote in either primary. There will be a 3 question survey to determine which way they are leaning. If they are leaning Republican, a bag of literature
will be left with them. If we happen upon someone who is not registered, leaning Republican, we will register them to vote.

Lunch will be at approx. 12:30 back at the 3528 Sundown. We should be finished by 3:00.
