The propossed bailout is tyranny wrapped up in FEAR.

Like the Iraq war and the Patriot Act before that. There are a handful of people who are trying to scare the people into going along with this.

Let's strike while the iron is hot and spread the truth about the proposed bailout THIS Sunday! (Sept 28)

Please meet us at 10am at Peseo Nuevo mall (right by Pirahna, the old Rocks building.) We will be handing out bailout slim-jims until the afternoon. Also we will be asking interested parties to MAKE THE CALL to their representatives to say no the the bailout, registering people for the Campaign for Liberty, registering people to vote, finding like-minded individuals, and discussing other matters.

For those of you who are on this mailing list but have not had the opportunity to join us at one of these meetups, then please come out this Sunday! This issue is of tremendous importance because the proposal subverts our government from within by creating another dictatorial branch of government that gives the Federal Resrve ongoing powers that the President does not even have! Call me 259.8769.

See you there.

Here are some talking points:

- [Except from cfl website]
“Dear Senator/Representative:

You MUST reject the Paulson/Bernanke plan for bailing out and propping up reckless banks at taxpayer expense. This is madness to ask us, the taxpayers, to cover the liabilities of Wall Street. We are tired of being fleeced. If you vote to support this plan, I will do everything in my power to remove you from office before you can give away any more of our money to failed businessmen.

Thank you, [Your name]”

- Living within my means is something that we are all capable of. I am not afraid of not being able to obtain credit.

- This bailout is welfare for the wealthy.

- The proposal states that the decisions of this new branch of government will be "non-reviewable ... by any court of law or any administrative agency." Why no checks or balances?

- The proposal gives authorization from the Treasurary Secratary to purchase up to $700 billion in mortgage-related assets at any one given time. That means $700 billion is only the very beginning of what will hit us. Where is the cap?

- Please say no to dictatorial powers to the treasury!

- The constitution did not change on the verge of Lehman's Bankruptcy.

- The Federal Reserve Created this mess to begin with!

- Please do not rush this proposal.

- Hoover & Roosevelt both tried to stop market prices from falling, which is exactly what the current proposal aims to do. By the result in the late 20's and early 30's was that the market never cleared, and so the Depression went on and on and on.

- "The government broke it. I don't trust them to fix it."
--Senator Jim DeMint, South Carolina
