Welp, the Bush administration is going to ask congress to make just about the worst decision possible in a bad situation: "Let's use taxpayer dollars to buy up billions of dollars of stock in two worthless private companies."

Of all the options open to deal with this Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac mess, the REPUBLICAN president had to choose the worst as far as government involvement and tax-money wasting.
