Bob Bird agreed to serve as a spokesperson to speak to the media...So, now I don't have to go it all on my own. I hope you will join us as well!

This is something that needs to be done and will be done in 50 states on the same day.---------------------------

WHEN: Monday, June 30
TIME: 11:45 AM
WHERE: Delaney Parkstrip, east end
PURPOSE: Petition presentation at the Federal Building
Friends:
Mr. Evan Cutler, Ron Paul activist in the Republican Party, has invited all freedom-loving Americans to join him in presenting the Petition for Redress of Grievances to the three (3) members of Alaska's Congressional delegation: Don Young, Lisa Murkowski and Ted Stevens.
This is part of a nation-wide event coordinated by the We The People Foundation.
Found in the 1st Amendment is the following: 'Congress shall make no law abridging . . . the right of the people to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.'
And what are these grievances? Not to ask for more government programs, but for FEWER! In other words, start obeying the Constitution's limits.
We will meet at the east end of the downtown Park Strip in Anchorage, walk the short distance to the Federal Building, make a few speeches, and then enter the federal building (it will seem a lot like boarding an airplane, I would guess) to deliver the peititions.
There will be no vulgar language or gestures, please. But home made signs would be welcome if they are kept in good taste.
The entire presentation will probably not take more than 30-45 minutes, so if you can get there during your lunch hour, great!
For freedom,
Bob Bird
