Allison, brilliant on the Santa hat. Festive is cool.

What time do you want to be there? 1:00?

Hit me back and I'll slap it up on the calendar if no one already has. I'm off Sunday, so I'll be there.

I've never actually been, so I'll be standing at the corner of 5th and locust unless someone knows of a better spot. Does anyone know when the crowds start forming?  I'm not sure how early to get there, but I'm sure at least an hour early. I have about 200 slim jims if you can bring the signs, Tom. And I don't know about you but Im bring a Santa hat :)
Happy Holidays!
Allison

Everyone,

I am sure that it is far too late to be actual participants in the parade, but we can certainly hold signs along the route.  With my daughter's birthday this weekend, I am a little busy to organize anything, but if someone tells me where to show up and when, I'll be there.  I have about a dozen of the signs that Phil ordered, so we should be covered there.

I have made more signs.  2' X 3' (11 of these) & 2' X 2'. (10 of these. These look amateur & viral)  I'll post pictures.

Everyone,

Pick up a copy of the Courier Press in the morning, our meetup group will be mentioned in it, so I'm told.

----------------------------------------------

Joshua,

Sounds awesome.

I think the Republican party is in need of a serious makeover. This thing is bigger than anyone ever expected, and it's only gonna grow from here. if the local 8th District Republicans want to renounce their endorsement of Rudy Giuliani, that would be awesome too. ;)

I understand the pressure the party is under. It can't be easy. But we have to make everyone understand that this Libertarian/Ron Paul thing really is a popular, grassroots movement that wins votes from nearly every political stripe imaginable while not sacrificing the principles that made the Republican party great once upon a time. There isn't risk in Liberty. The real risk is sacrificing principle for a faulty perception of "winning".

I'm sure our honorable Tom Tindle would like to talk to you about facing off against Ellsworth in '08.  Ain't that right, Tom? :P

I'd vote for you.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Allison,

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it because I'm not quite sure of my work schedule for the coming week. I'll know more by tomorrow. But if you'd like to take the lead on stumping for Ron Paul at the parade, you are obviously welcome to ANY of the materials I have, i.e. signs and slim jims. I don't have a whole lot, but what I do have is effective. Let me know something.

Knock outs usually come on combinations, so if we can continue the assault from today through the parade and Black Friday, that would be awesome. That goes for anyone else as well. Give me the word and I'll schedule a definite meetup w/ COATS. brrrrrrrr.

Greetings,

I am new to this listserv and have yet to attend a meetup, but I
intend to come this upcoming Tuesday. In addition to being a Ron Paul
supporter, I am also treasurer of the local Republican party. I would
like to discuss ways that we can incorporate libertarian-minded ideals
into the local party and look forward to discussing it with everyone
who will be there Tuesday.

Best,
Joshua Claybourn
