Americans for Prosperity Foundation announces its second annual RightOnline Conference at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh, PA on August 14 & 15, 2009. Join the nation’s foremost new media experts, leading voices of the conservative movement, and hundreds of citizen activists from across the country, to take back the internet. This two day conference will feature an impressive lineup of speakers and a solid agenda of workshops and training seminars focused on cutting edge strategies and techniques in online activism.

Most recently, the Taxpayer Tea Parties showed that regular, common-sense Americans are sick and tired of being forced to pay for wasteful spending and shameful bailouts -- and that they're fighting back, both online and off. Many have already been using tools like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs and instant messaging to spread the word and to help others take action. But often, this new activism is being done by folks who've never gotten involved before, and conservative activists remain dangerously behind the radical left when it comes to utilizing the internet. RightOnline provides cutting edge new-media training for regular citizens who want to get more involved and become more effective in their advocacy efforts.

The lineup of speakers includes GOP candidate in the 2010 Pennsylvania U.S. Senatorial race, Pat Toomey, The Wall Street Journal's Steve Moore and John Fund, Fox News Contributor Jim Pinkerton, RedState.com's Erick Erickson, NewsMax.com's Ronald Kessler, HotAir.com's Ed Morrissey, Americans for Prosperity Foundation President Tim Phillips, and Fox Forum's Phil Kerpen. And The program will train and inspire first-time internet users and veteran bloggers alike.
