Hello to everyone,

Just wanted to try and let everyone know where
we are and where we might want to go from here now
that the primary is over.

Our group is going to have regular meetings on Tuesday
nights at 7 PM each week. Tuesday is the most useless
day of the week so we may as well use it. That might
be why elections are on Tuesdays..LOL

One of the things we should be looking forward to are
the local elections and as a team working to help our
like minded people get elected. In that light, one of the
things we need to do is to reach out to a wider base of people
to get involved and at least get informed about what our
elected people are all about and stay educated.

Ron Paul showed us the way, now we should pick up on
what he has taught us and keep it going. One of the ideas
is to keep our group going and to get to know the people
in Erie Co. and for them to know and learn about our group.

This can and should involve guest speakers, guest politicains
and classes to help us all learn. Maybe even a picnic or two.
Heck, we are right on the lake. Horseshoes, dogs and burgers
with some beverages tossed in sounds like fun.

The idea is to have canidates come to us rather then us going to them.
Once you are at a council meeting, they have the control.
If we can invite folks to come to us, then we can get a better
picture as to what they really think and where they stand.

In that light, we are asking for ideas about a website and a
name for our group. Instead of just a Ron Paul group, ideas
were talked about a group that can include a bigger range
of people. Open our group up to all walks of life. By doing that
we may be able to get our message and ideas about common sense
in government to a broader range of folks and enlighten each
other. All political parties can't be all wrong. Learn from each
other and hear each other out.

If our numbers can get big enough we can get the ears of
those who want to run for office and invite them to tell us their stories.
Phil English and others would certainly show up if they thought
there were votes involved.

It's just an idea and we would certainly like to hear yours.

In that light we started a forum where you can speak your
peice without leaving your home. Go here and register and
look around. Create a profile and introduce yourself.
Once registered you can reply to topics or create some new ones.
It's in it's infancy, so bear with us. But we would like your input
to see if this will work.

The name will change but for now this is just a starter name.
Love to hear your thoughts which you can post in the forum
for all to read. We will settle on a domain name soon
if there is any interest in continuing this project.

With that will come a website to act as a capture page for
those new people who may be interested in joining us in
the future.

So in closing, meetings on Tuesday nights at 7.
Bring your thoughts and ideas. If there is no interest then
we will just close things down and ride off into the sunset.

Thanks and see ya soon.
