Lincoln Days was a success once again this year! Last year, we saw what Real ID flyers could do…the constiuents called and Dottie Sims, our representative, sponsored our legislation. This year we were again educating on the Real ID, but our first priority was Rand's campaign. We passed out lots of Bernanke Bucks, and registered some young people to vote.

Probably the hardest people to reach are the young people—they have very short attention spans, and they don't take the time to listen to the fact that even 17-year-olds can vote. Whenever I got the chance to share this info, they thought that was "really cool." If anyone has a great idea on how to effectively get this message out to the masses, please let me know!

Another great point we were able to share with people is the importance of being informed on jury rights. And of course, the other random info we distributed was football schedules! LOL, yes they were Rand Paul football schedules. The people love 'em!

Thanks to all of you who came to help! I know it was a big event to put on, but you were even more amazing because our plans kept getting crunched but you were all there as faithful patriots and friends!

Get your ideas put together for next year! And until then, we'll be busy on lots of other fun and important events!
