(Thomas Jefferson: www.quotedb.com/quotes/2283) We must use the powerful and irreversible checks and balances already set up, and write it in stone and in the hearts and laws of our country to keep the chains of servitude off. The implimentation of powerful checks and balances can help immeasurably to protect what is most precious and dear. "An ounce of prevention is worth a [10,000] pound of cure." Remember, there will always be those who will try to prostitute government into a looting scheme of theft, servitude or monopoly. So the fight must never end. Freedom is worth it.

Mahatma Gandhi gave this observation and advice:

When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it – always.


The truth and the right will win in the end, but we must do our part. Dr. Oliver DeMille, president of George Wythe College, explained, "Our freedoms are not the result of chance; we have them because the founding men and women decided to pay the price for freedom. Unless we are willing to pay that same price, we cannot and will not stay free.
