I would love to attend this but I can't. Please, someone write up a quick summary of the meeting when it's done so that those of us who couldn't attend know what they said. Thanks.

Unfortunately, video recording is not permitted. They will have an audio recording available sometime afterwards.

Someone should film this and/or take good notes to share with others. Filming would be preferable so we could throw it up on YouTube.

Just to be clear. These are the "good guys." They will not sugar coat our economic woes. In fact, they have been very critical of our government. Please read about O'Neil and Walker, and watch the YouTube videos (hyperlinked in the Details).

I assume we're attending in order to ask questions if there's a Q&A period??

Didn't address the hard issues like the cost of maintaining military abroad. Didn't address the Federal Reserve. or the cost of maintaining the IRS
    •  Good Informational Session. Panelists agreed that if government spending continues at current pace, a financial crisis will be left for the next generation to sort out. The major culprit identified was Health Care (Medicare). Panelists made it clear that they preferred different ways to resolve the issue. One concept is to make the health care consumers more responsible for goods and services purchased, which will reduce unnecessary procedures and force providers to become more cost-competitive.
