AFTF and NVCCA Anti-Real ID Rally and Press Conference

"I rise in strong opposition to H.R. 418, the REAL ID Act. This bill purports to make us safer from terrorists who may sneak into the United States, and from other illegal immigrants. While I agree that these issues are of vital importance, this bill will do very little to make us more secure. It will not address our real vulnerabilities. It will, however, make us much less free. In reality, this bill is a Trojan horse. It pretends to offer desperately needed border control in order to stampede Americans into sacrificing what is uniquely American: our constitutionally protected liberty."- Ron Paul

Pittsburgh, this is our time to rise!!

Aaron Russo's America:Freedom to Fascism organization has been involved in the Anti-Real ID movement in Pennsylvania. They have met with PA State representatives who have introduced Anti-Real ID legislation in the PA House. They have sponsored rallies all around the state in opposition to Real ID. Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Johnstown and other cities have already had their chance to speak out against this piece of Orwellian legislation which is set to come into effect this year. Now it is our turn to speak out against this horrible assault against our liberties and let our state government know that we want that legislation passed now!

AFTF and NVCCA are calling on all freedom activists to attend the Conference being held by the state in Pittsburgh

It will be held at the William Pitt Union Ballroom on the Pitt Campus in Oakland on Thursday, March 13th from 10AM-Noon. So mark your calenders, take off of work that day or take a half-day whatever you have to do, just be there!

We will not stand for a National-ID card because, as Ron Paul has said, government should be protecting the privacy of individuals not the secrecy and privacy of government. We should not have to live in a country where government officials demand to "see our papers". It is just Unconstitutional and should not be something a free people have to do.
