What: The House of Representatives health care reform bill HR 3200 America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 has been stalled in the Energy and Commerce Committee primarily by the fiscally conservative Blue Dog Democrats over projected costs, putting President Obama's deadline for getting health care reform passed before the August Congressional recess in jeopardy. Tea Party Patriots reports that while it is unclear whether Energy and Commerce will have the votes to pass the bill out of committee, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to bring the bill to the House Floor this week regardless of what the committee does. When I take this bill to the floor, it will win," Pelosi said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union."

Meanwhile, the goal in the Senate has been to produce a proposal that can attract a modest amount of Republican votes. There are huge questions, however, about whether the compromises most believe necessary to get a significant number of Republicans on board would produce a bill acceptable to the President and House liberals. To Tea Party Patriots knowledge, the Senate Finance Committee has yet to present a bill. There have been many rumors about bipartisan compromises happening in that committee that will still result in government take over of our health care.

The calls we've made and the faxes and emails we've sent to our Representatives and Senators continue to have an impact. Tea Party Patriots requests that we continue the pressure with a new "Health Care Freedom To Do List‏" for this week.

When: All Day Wednesday July 29th.

Actions:
1) Call the members of the House Energy and Finance Committee and tell them to vote against government take over of our health care and to kill HR 3200 in committee.

2) Call the Senate Finance Committee and tell them to vote against government take over of our health care.

3) Email 10 (or more) of your friends to tell them what is in the Health Care Bill and how it will affect their lives.
