                           Our Mission\nOur intent is to restore the governi
 ng of our nation to its constitutional roots.  We will use any peaceful mea
 ns necessary to ensure the life\, liberty\, and pursuit of happiness that o
 ur founding fathers designed for us\, the American people\, to enjoy. \n\nA
 bout US\nWe are an independent coalition of like minded-citizens whose only
  goal is to enforce the Constitution as the law of the land. We will report
  on elected officials who support this cause\, and those who do not. We wil
 l also promote candidates from any party affiliation who best suit this cau
 se and can effectively win elections. Limited government\, fiscal responsib
 ility and individual liberties are top priorities for any candidate that we
  may endorse.\n\nJuly 4th\, 2009\n"No taxation without representation" bega
 n as a slogan in the period 1763–1776 that summarized a primary grievance o
 f the British colonists in the Thirteen Colonies. The people in America wer
 e being asked to pay the government without any say in how that government 
 would be run. Sound familiar? It has been a long time since the government 
 of the United States represented it's people but that hasn't stopped them f
 rom increasing our taxes and undermining our "lives"\, our "liberties"\, an
 d our ability to "pursue happiness". As Thomas Jefferson stated\, when gove
 rnment becomes "destructive"\, it becomes our "right" and our "duty" to rem
 ove such government and create a new one. \n\nThat is our purpose. We must 
 either "alter" the government or "abolish it"\, as Jefferson declared. Ther
 e is nothing wrong with the framework our nation was built on. Our Constitu
 tion is a divinely-inspired\, miraculous document designed to protect us fr
 om tyranny and despotism. To abolish such a framework would be to abolish a
 ny chance for liberty to flourish. It is our intention to "alter" our gover
 nment by restoring it to it's constitutional roots. \n\nTo this end we have
  formed  the March for Liberty Coalition.  To begin our efforts to restore 
 our republic we will be sponsoring a demonstration in Washington D.C. on Ju
 ly 4th\, 2009 scheduled for 10:00 am in the Upper Senate Park adjacent to t
 he Capitol Building north of Constitution Avenue. Please make an effort to 
 join us and tell others about this event.\n\nWe will be allowed to demonstr
 ate\, not march. There will be too much traffic on that day to take up road
 ways or sidewalks in an organized march. We can all "walk" down to the even
 t in one group as long as we do not hinder traffic and as long as we raise 
 NO banners and NO signs until we get there. \n\nHere is the link to the Cap

  dot).\n\nOur reservation is for 9:30 am until 2:30 pm. There are a few rul
 es as to what we can do there but nothing unreasonable.\n\n*We will meet at
  McPherson Square\, K street NW and Vermont Ave NW  at ~8:45 am for pre-ral
 ly briefing and then our leg-stretching 10 block walk to the Upper Senate P
