I checked on getting a bus. A 49 passenger bus would cost about $32.00 per person and a 29 passenger would cost about $39.00 per person. Anyone interested, please e-mail me asap at rodehill@pa.net. The bus would leave Harrisburg area around 7:30 AM and return from D.C. at 7 PM.

Hey! I was wondering if it would be possible to have the bus leave earlier in the day, since we have to plow through D.C. traffic and get settled in a place close to the action (i.e., Ron Paul!). I understand that many people are going down to the march the night before, so we need to get there pretty early if we want a good spot. Is this possible? Also, where will the bus be dropping us off in D.C.?

We can leave as early as we like and get dropped off as close to the march site as is allowable. The bus has only been put on reserve, so if there is enough interest, action needs to be taken asap. I also have been holding two rooms for the nights of July 11 and July 12 at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel which is a beautiful hotel two blocks from the Mall for a long time. The hotel prices in D.C. have taken a dive. I think the cost is $119.00 for one night and $139.00 for the other night. Did anyone need hotel accommodations?

Hey everyone! For those of you who do not understand the nuts and bolts of reserving a bus, we need to know EXACTLY how many plan on riding the bus. Full payment for the charter has to be paid two full weeks prior to July 12. Since I would be paying for the bus, I do NOT PLAN on paying for a bus that is only half full, and therefore, only half paid by the participants. This is a big problem in attempting to do something like this. So, I would hope everyone who plans to go on the bus will get their numbers, names and money set aside asap. If there isn't enough participation, the bus will have to be cancelled. I changed the departure time to 5 AM from Halifax, and a 7 PM departure from D.C.
