Ron Paul Ottawa Meetup Group - Initial meeting - Saturday, April 19th, 2008 @ 5PM EST

The purpose of our initial meeting will be to get to know one another, share our thoughts on Ron Paul and general politics in the US/Canada/World, and perhaps start planning a trip to Washington, DC for the march!

I tried to pick a neutral location, and what better place than a coffee shop in the middle of town, close to everyone. Our first meeting will take place at Starbucks, located at 1124 Bank St.

Parking should be free on the side streets, and I chose a Saturday afternoon so that most people can make it. I tried to pick a time that isn't too late in case people have plans afterwards (like watching playoff hockey!) and not too early in case people are still recovering from a late Friday night :)

I chose a date in April for several reasons:
1. I will be out of town until then.
2. To give people enough of a heads up.
3. Hopefully by the time we meet the campaign would have officially announced the march date.
