Announcing the First Annual Federal Reserve protest!

This April 1st, concerned citizens will converge upon the 12 Federal Reserve Banks to show their displeasure with the Fed?s policies as well as their present monopoly on currency.

This will be an outstanding display of grass roots activism that is both disparate and synchronized and show the power of Ron Paul?s message in motivating a revolution in American politics.

It is one thing for a local group to hold a singular protest and quite another for there to be a nationwide, simultaneous event. This cannot fail in attracting local and national coverage on an issue that has received significant publicity during this election season.

This will be a day to be remembered.

We've got someone bringing a video camera, we've got fliers, we've got signs.. All we need now is a bullhorn. If anyone can bring one please let me know!

We made lots of signs on Sunday, and I'll continue to make more through Monday night, but I'm not sure that we'll have enough for everyone. If you have time, please make a custom sign of your own!!

Has anyone taken a look at the surrounding area? How about looking into any official permits? It would be great to get a bull horn in there. I plan on going down there this Friday, so if anyone wants to join, let me know. I wanted to get more information on the FED and what they are about from the inside.

    •  Very successful event! I counted 29 people at our peak time, around 10:30. Everyone was very peaceful and knowledgeable of the Fed Reserve and its history. Lots of fliers and DVDs were handed out, and the signs seemed to be a success! Looking forward to next year's event..
    •  There is great interest in the group for this topic! Plenty of signs, fliers, DVDs, and people to get the message delivered "on the street". Everyone was well behaved, as I expected, and to the relief of the "uniforms" at the main entrance to the FED building.
    •  During the 9:30 to 1:40 time there, it was a peaceful protest. We were at least 20 strong during this time interval. The FRB Security detail was about 5 or 6 strong. We were asked to carry our signs and make our handouts on the sidewalk and to stay off FRB property. Pedestrians who walked by in the covered outdoor FRB area were free to do so. At least two of their Security detail were friendly and seemed glad to accept our handouts. It was a good experience seeing Ron Paul supporters from our group again and meeting with those from other RP Meet-up Groups as wekk.. I would call it a successful protest.
