Helping Texas
The presidential primary will be held in Texas on March 4, 2008. This is information for helping with telephone campaigning in Texas for Ron Paul. It is primarily geared towards his presidential run, but they might also be able to give you information on voters in his congressional district. Supposedly, the official campaign itself is already managing the congressional run. If you are able to participate in this, it must be done as soon as possible. Even if you can only devote two hours on one day to help talk to voters, that is better than nothing. Please do not refuse to offer helping with this because you think that you'll have to spend 10 hours doing it. Every little bit of help counts. So if you can share 20 hours or 20 minutes, please sign up. Thanks. ------------------------------- INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Go to http://rpfusa.net... 2. Click the "Texas" link 3. Click the "Houston Harris County" link 4. In the very upper right corner, you will see a "Volunteer Now" image. Click the image. 5. Complete the form and click the "Register" button. 6. Then email Martin Nitschke at [marsox at gmail dot com] and tell him that you just submitted your information and that you would like for him to assign you a job. Also, send him your phone number (with area code of course). 7. After you register and email Martin and he assigns you a job, he is going to try and set up a conference call that is best for as many people as possible to go over the system and help you use it. If you cannot make the conference call, then he will talk to you personally. It might be best to let him know in your email which night(s) of the week would be best for you to do a conference call. ------------------------------- Here is some additional contact information that you might find useful: Republican Party of Texas 900 Congress, Suite 300 Austin, Texas 78701 (512) 477-9821 (512) 480-0709 (fax) |
