!IMPORTANT! Precinct Convention!

Be at your polling place by 7:00 PM (make it 6:30 PM to be safe) on March 4.

This is when the precinct "convention" will happen. It starts after the polls close. Make sure you go to the REPUBLICAN side (democrats will have a meeting too). Make sure you have your STAMPED voter registration card. When you vote(d) in the primary, they stamp your card with the word "Republican". This is your ticket to get in the convention.

It is a meeting where anywhere from 1 to 30 delegates may be chosen (varies by precinct). Delegates are the people who's votes actually count for the nomination of our president. Someone will conduct the meeting by following a worksheet. At some point, they will ask for people to nominate themselves to be delegates. We need all Ron Paul supporters to volunteer for this and to vote for other Ron Paul supporters.

If you have been walking and calling your precinct, hopefully you have some Ron Paul supporters lined up. They need to go to this convention with you. Even if they are not willing to go through the delegate process, they need to make sure you get elected.

Our goal is to pack all of the conventions with as many Ron Paul delegates as possible.

The next step after this is a senatorial convention, which is a similar process but at the county level and the only people who can attend are people who were elected at the precinct level. If you are not able to go to the state convention in Houston, your goal at the county level will just be to elect as many Ron Paul people as possible.

Do not wear Ron Paul gear while you are at the conventions. Tell people the truth - you are a conservative and want to make sure we get the party back in line with small government, low taxes, balanced budgets, pro-life, anti-democrat/socialist, pro-gun, etc. Don't talk about specific candidates or anything that might reveal you are a Ron Paul supporter because the machine WILL be trying to block you every step of the way (if they have the people for it).
