Interesting experience visiting the Barnes and Noble bookstore to purchase the reserved book "The Revolution: A Manifesto".
While browsing politics/history table (not the shelf) for books -- I ended up picking "Are We Rome? The Fall of an Empire and the Fate of America" TP by Cullen Murphy -- I picked another book on Ron Paul. The stranger wearing the pair of sunglass on the other side of the table also browsed and saw me pick the book "Ron Paul Speaks" with a cover photo of Dr Paul. He immediately picked the copy after me as though he is instantaneously curious. I told this stranger Dr Paul's new book "The Revolution" is available now. He lit up and said that's the book he's looking for. I pointed him out to customer service to locate the book. I could not locate the stack of the book in "New Release" section near the entrance of the store, which is disappointing. Arrangement of the stack of Dr Paul's latest book in New Release Non-Fiction table section would help promote and sell the copies like hot cakes if not for a local B&N "hiding" the copies that force the walk-in customers to ask for it at customer service desk. I felt better knowing there's another Ron Paul person to help acquire the book by coincidence outside of Meet-Ups and sign waving. If the local bookstores -- B&N, Borders, independent -- indeed have multiple copies of "The Revolution" yet on sale, be sure to ask for a manager to arrange the book on Non-Fiction New Release table so the customers will have opportunity to locate and browse without having to ask for it at customer service desk. __________________ Posted at DailyPaul |
