Get those "Audit the Fed" signs and banners ready! Save this date!

Efforts to audit the Federal Reserve System have been progressing in relative secrecy for the past couple months. If we can get the light of day on this it will be unstoppable. A large majority of the house are cosigners, yet the leadership won't put it to the vote. Most senators are reluctant to cosign it. The political embarrassment of opposing transparency would be too much, if the general public were made more aware of it.

None of these people have been able to present an argument against auditing the fed that would make sense to the average voter. Other rallies have been in front of a building, on a Saturday when the traffic is low and the journalists are off the clock.

This time we should do it on a weekday, outside a Presidential media event. Please stick to the issue. We have opinions about a lot of things (including the President himself), but let's focus our energy. There are many Obama supporters who wish to see an Audit of the Fed (the irony is not lost on me). Here is a link to an article where the author makes some good points:http://endthefedusa.ning.com/profiles/blogs/focus-the-message-lose-the

I will try to make some event specific literature, and a sign or two, but this depends on our collective effort. Please make and bring a sign or banner. Please print flyers to distribute. Here is a link for issue specific flyers made available by the C4L:http://www.campaignforliberty.com/handouts.php#endthefed

Where: 14500 E. 12 Mile Road • Warren, Michigan 48088-3896

The "Town Hall" will probably be in the complex labeled T-S-R on this map, but we man need to rally by the street. Parking will only be permitted in lots 1, 2, and 3 neer Bunert and Twelve Mile Rd. (See map) You may get a parking ticket there if you don't have an MCC sticker. There is also an empty parking lot on the other side of Twelve mile. (Vacant Grocery store).

Here is a campus map:http://www.macomb.edu/NR/rdonlyres/9579E067-792F-43A6-A696-1C33461ED705/0/SouthCampus.pdf

When: Tuesday, July 14th. Probably in the afternoon through early evening. We will gather at 1:00 PM, but the President is expected to arrive closer to 3:30 PM. He will certainly be gone by 5:30 PM so he can get to the All Star game.

Dear friend of liberty:

This must go viral. I know the concept can be over-done, and I know the impact of such messages can become diluted when done too often. That is why I haven't pushed anything like this since the 2008 election season, but this is different.

There has been a groundswell of support for an audit of the Federal Reserve System (sic). The movement has swept the house of representatives (with most of them becoming co-sponsors). It transcends ideological beliefs. The House version was introduced by a Laissez-Faire Capitalist, and the Senate version was introduced by an avowed socialist. The house version has cosponsors from both major parties.

So don't leave anyone out. Email EVERYONE you know. Call EVERYONE you know. Even if our Senators ignore us, the Senator in your loved ones state may listen. Post the message everywhere you can:

On July 6th call your Senator and politely insist that he or she cosponsor "S 604: Federal Reserve Board Sunshine Act of 2009."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Monday, July 6th we will follow up our nationwide End the Fed! Tea Parties with an "Audit the Fed! Melt the Senate Switchboard Day".

We must all call in on that day and get EVERYONE we know to also call in to our Senators.

The Senate Switchboard number is:
(202) 224-3121 or toll free at 888-355-3588 or 888-818-6641.

Let's also call our Senator's local offices as well.

Let's also call to PRAISE and APPLAUD those Representatives and Senators who have Co-Sponsored the HR 1207.

The Congressional Switchboard number is:
1-877-851-6437.

He has been a Libertarian candidate in every statewide partisan election since 1994. He has also been an educator for 19 years and currently teaches physics at Wayne County Community College.

The Main Rally is at 2:00 PM (At the Fed of course)
But many of will be handing out information at the Eastern Market an hour before the event.
There are far more people present before than after.

1:00 PM Eastern Market:

There wasn't any consensus about a meeting place, but I will be at the corner of Russell St. & Alfred St. at 1:00 PM in case anyone wishes to work with me on passing out lit. I will print a few, but I expect others to bring flyers as well.

Bring printed flyers to promote HR 1207, and inform people about the 2:00 PM Rally.

2:00 PM Rally at the Fed:

Date: April 25 2009

We meet at 2:00pm outside the front gate of the Federal Reserve Bldg
in Detroit

1600 East Warren Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207-1063 -

Visit http://www.endthefed.us

Bring Picket Signs
Bring Video Cameras
Leave your negativity at home. This is a peacefull rally, but we are there to let them know we are FED UP WITH THE FED.

3:00 PM (or there abouts)

We will give others a chance to arrive, then head over to the Eastern Market with our cars caravan style to hand out literature concerning the Fed, H.R. 1207 and the Campaign for Liberty.

Following this we can head over to Coaches Corner in nearby Harmonie Park to relax and create a strategy for upcoming summer events. Hope to see all of you freedom lovers.
