About Pennsylvania Delegates for Ron Paul 2008 Online Group

This MeetUp is a group that holds no meetings to travel to. We use the forms and nomenclature of meetup.com to communicate, plan, and schedule local action. Our immediate goal is to have Ron Paul delegates listed at the top of Republican Primary ballots in each and every one of Pennsylvania's 19 Congressional Districts (5 get 4 delegates, 14 get 3 delegates, GOP gets 12 delegates, total=74 delegates).

Here's our plan in a nutshell:

1/5/08: Prospective delegate packets are received.

1/22/08: Prospective delegates start getting fellow registered Republican signatures, 250 min, 400 target. Each voter can only sign for as many delegates as will be elected in their congressional district (3 or 4).

2/12/08: Prospective delegates present your signatures in Harrisburg.

2/20/08: Lottery drawing occurs in Harrisburg to establish the order that qualified candidate Delegates names' will be placed on the ballot.

2/29/08: 'Excess' qualified delegates must have their names withdrawn from being printed on the ballot. Then we direct all supporters to the 3 or 4 Ron Paul delegates listed high on the ballot.

4/22/08: Republican Primary election

9/1/08: National GOP convention in Minneapolis, MN
