Saturday Constitution Meetup, Support for Ron Paul and chat

THIS IS THE FIRST MEETUP AFTER THE PRIMARIES. PLEASE JOIN US!

We have several new members now. So far Acye Robbins and myself have been showing up and shooting the breeze about Ron Paul and the state of things in the country. I would like to see more people at these meetings so we can exchange ideas and information. Then we can disperse and hit our precincts for Ron Paul.

Have you signed up as a precinct captain yet? If not head over to the campaign website and all the information is there. After a few weeks of technical glitches, they finally got themselves together and have a working system.

This meetup is to exchange information, ideas, DVD's, and any flyers and information you have for us. Canvass where you can. We should always keep up a map of where everything happened. I will be sending out a message notice which includes resources on what to do and other help topics. Check this event information for more details.

We need to start getting people together and talk about Ron Paul. More importantly we need to get around town and canvass (talk to people) about Ron Paul.

We have resources to aid in residential canvassing for Ron Paul. I have DVD's which will aid in talking to people.

I would also like people to come up with ideas for holding up signs in crowded areas, farmers market canvassing, and many other grass roots ideas around town. Keep in mind that most "organized" events put on by the city or even privately funded will require some kind of permission or at least "a nod" so you can walk around.

Other ideas include getting a Ron Paul shirt and cap, and just walk around with DVD's, pamplets, and slim jims. You can casually ask people if they would like more information about Ron Paul which could open up a conversation. The DVD's are .25 cents so I recommend giving those to serious people who want more information and they won't throw them away or something.

I would also like to get local establishments to help out with posters, or even the local movie theatre to show the DVD.

I don't have an exact place to meetup yet, but perhaps a Starbucks or that Bagel place on Lone Tree. I will update the Meetup a little later. I would like to pass out some DVD's and show my other ideas for "advertisement" you can wear or bring with you. I will also need to order more slim jims, and need to know how many to order.
