In these times of crisis it is important that we stand up against those forces who want upon the world more government, more regulation, and less freedom.
We are told that it is capitalism run wild that has caused this crisis.
Bill Bonner gives us what the main problem really is:
The Fed’s job is to take the punchbowl away when the party gets too wild, said former Fed chairman William McChesney Martin. Greenspan did no such thing. As soon as the party began to quiet down and people began fumbling for their car keys, Greenspan added more rum to the punch and turned up the music. By the time the credit cops finally shut it down, people were dancing on tabletops all over the world.
Dr. Thomas E. Woods of the Mises Institute has recently release
Meltdown on the present crisis.
Another book is Dr. George Cooper's The Origin of Financial Crises. The Oslo-based think tank Civita has invited Dr. Cooper for a seminar on Friday March 6.
We're going to this seminar to show support for liberty and opposition to packages and to government as the solution to our problems.
Please RSVP, and please also sign up for the seminar.
See you there.
