Noon on Saturday we are having a lawn-sign assembling, phone banking (local NJ donors), and general strategy session. NYC Meetup Times Square Event

To anyone interested, the NYC Meetup is doing a Times Square event to try and get some free TV coverage.

Some info received on NYC list:

Tonight we are meeting at 7PM at HQ and walking over to the Times Square area together. I hope to leave the HQ by 7:15 so try to be on time if you are coming. We will for the most part attempt to stay out of getting directly into the square due to the fact that most of it is cordoned off, but I think a trip down 8th ave. waving signs and handing out literature will have a nice effect. Afterwards we will march back over to HQ. Wear your comfortable shoes as many of you know it's a lengthy walk from HQ to Times Square and back. Multi-Meetup Sign-Making and Social Event

Sorry for the short notice, but we've been in touch with Essex county supporters and are bringing together a collaborative multi-Meetup event:

Saturday
12PM Noon
at the Hackensack location.

Same deal as always, RSVP for the location if you haven't been, or call 201-349-4231. We will be getting a fresh roll for the signs and are hoping to churn out the entire thing on Saturday - so it should be a lengthy Meetup. Being one or two hours late is no problem, just call the above number to see how progress is going. Also - please bring the # to the Meetup as the front doors to the office building will lock - and if you call we can let you in. We are heading down to the wire - so if you support Ron Paul, want to make a difference, and would enjoy meeting like minded supporters - please join us.

Dec. 27 Hackensack: Sign-Finishing / January Planning

Hey everyone, Sunday's Meetup was our strongest showing so far. So many good people willing to work against the failing status quo - it really is a breath of hope. We made great progress with our signs, although a few remain to be finalized.

We are squeezing one more meeting between Christmas and the New Year to finish up the last minute preparations and details for upcoming January operations. Anyone who can make it out is welcome, hope to see you all there!

Sunday Meeting - Last before holidays.

Hey everyone,

Once again I'm sorry if I got the address to Tuesday's meeting out too late. This time the cell-phone is included so you can be sure to get information if you are interested. Anyways we will be meeting again in Hackensack for one last sign-making event before the Holidays are upon us. Sunday at 2pm people are meeting, but if you came at 3pm there would still be much to do. The cell number for information is 201-349-4231. In case any of you didn't get the heads up, this weekend the greater NYC is doing a massive NH trip where everything possible is being done to maximize the number of people attending. Transportation and housing are all available FREE if necessary so please check out the information if you have even the slightest interest in going. As of now I do not know that anyone from Bergen is planning to do this, but most likely at least one or two will end up hopping aboard. Feel free to start a discussion on the local board if anyone is interested or has made plans to go with the NY group.

Tuesday Night Meeting (New Location)

Hey everyone, this Tuesday night meeting is at a second location in Hackensack, we will be constructing the larger freeway signs -which in case you haven't seen on an overpass - look great ;). In addition it will be a good meeting to attend since most likely there won't be a similar meeting until after the holidays - and then we are on a tight time table. Because of that it makes sense to have a planning session in case anyone wants to make plans to campaign in some way over the dead zone between now and after Christmas.

RSVP and we will send all information as usual, or just call/message.

BOSTON RALLY

EDIT: Due to the Nor'easter forecasted to hit Boston Saturday night into Sunday morning I have no idea if this event may get cancelled outright. If you were thinking about going please keep that forecast in mind and *certainly* check the Boston groups link before you leave to make sure it isn't postponed or rescheduled.

NYC (Tea) Party

Just putting it up here in case anyone is interested, Saturday night into Sunday morning there's a huge party going on at the NYC HQ to watch the TeaParty launch. Should be a fun time for anyone into 4AM partying ;). Here's the link to the official NYC activity page. I'll make this RSVP'able but it's really more of a note - there's no organized push for us to travel there together but if someone sees another person RSVP'd they can try and work out something if they like.

Fort Lee Multistate Rally

PLEASE NOTE: The overpass rally is at 11:00AM but people are meeting at 10:30AM two blocks away, obviously you can just show up to the overpass, but if you wanted to socialize a bit beforehand - you have the 10:30 option. Just don't confuse the two and show up to the overpass at 10:30AM just to wonder where everyone is ;).

The Rally will be kicking off a weekend full of events and activities around the state and around the country.

Doherty will be joined by Murray Sabrin a Ramapo College Professor, former GOP U.S. Senate candidate and the 1997 Libertarian candidate for Governor, and George Ajjan, the 2004 Republican candidate for Congress in the eighth district to speak this weekend in what is sure to be a great event.
