We will be having an action meeting to inform how you can best influence your Congressman to support H.R. 1207 "The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009" that was introduced Congressman Ron Paul and is currently in the House Financial Committee. This bill would give Congress the power to observe audits of the Federal Reserve, giving congressional oversight of the Federal Reserve facilities and its transactions. There are currnetly 190 co-sponsors. We only need 28 more to have a majority in the House. None of the congressman in South Florida has signed on as a co-sponsor yet. We need to put the pressure on. My congressman in district 22 has assured me that he is look at HR 1207 we need a view more voices to pressure him into co-sponsoring this bill.
