Meeting Description: There will be a hearing on resolution AJR 51, Senator Pedro Nava's resolution to stop the real ID and related issues. Pedro Nava originally voted for the Real ID Act, now he is sponsoring a resolution against the act. Some people go to a hearing to speak, others to to hear, thus, they call it a hearing. Make sure you plan on speaking out about the dangers of The Real ID. We may not all get a chance to speak but be prepared. Prepare, even write out what you are going to say when you get to the microphone. Just read it if necessary. Be professional in your appearance. Oppose Real ID not because of the cost, (which is the wrong reason), which some truth twisters will use as an argument to stop it, but because of the Constitution, the endangerment of our citizens privacy both to our government and to foreign governments. Read up on it and be prepared to present a strong, honest, hard hitting argument against the real ID and for AJR 51. It does have international implications!! Read and act upon the email I just sent out on the Real ID Act. This is winnable. Victory can be ours, new eyes can be opened up and it will set back the timetable a year or two. LET'S GO GET EM!!
