Ron Paul’s new bill, The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009, HR1207, now has 84 cosponsors according to the Library of Congress website, and we have it on good authority that 8 more are already on board and will be reflected on the website in the next few days (thomas.loc.gov).
The Campaign for Liberty has called for a nationwide campaign to visit the local
offices of Congressmen and Congresswomen on Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
Can we call this “Super Tuesday?”
This is easy. Print out some materials provided in the Files Section, go by the office nearest you, ask to speak to an aide, hand them the materials, and tell them a little about why you’d like the Congressman to cosponsor HR1207.
Visit your Congressman/woman and tell him/her that you insist they cosponsor the Audit the Fed bill, HR1207.
HR stands for House of Representatives, and 1207 just means it’s the 1207th law proposed this year.
If we get 218 cosponsors, that’s over half the House of Representatives and pretty much ensures passage.
This battle can be won by you!
Who do you contact? Best is the Congressman/woman in your home district. Check your voter registration card. Second best is someone close. The Representatives are listed below.
