About The Charlotte Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group

The republican primary in our fine state of NC is on Tuesday, May 6th, 2008. Our goal is to spread information and thus bring in the votes for Dr. Ron Paul.

Here are some of the ways we are working together to do this:

1) Door-to-door canvassing! This is our #1 method of finding supporters for Ron Paul. there's nothing like that one-on-one contact and direct Q&A. Everyone should be a "precinct leader" in their own precinct.

2) Literature drops... to mailboxes.... but this is especially effective at events that you attend! Whether they are political events, conferences on health/etc... giving people information on Ron Paul is vital! We hand out slim jims, flyers, bumper stickers, DVDs, and yard signs.

3) Phone banking (not yet started).

4) Sign Waves and marches

5) Attend RP rallies and debates with Dr Paul himself... those are such fun!

6) Letter writing (only to people we know are RP supporters... otherwise this is a waste of time).

7) We meet monthly to discuss progress and make plans.

8) Be a delegate!

And we're getting more and more creative as time goes on and we get more experienced at this!
