The Boston Tea Party was an act of direct protest by American Colonists demanding representation in the British Government. They became known as the original patriots.

The Los Angeles Tea Party of 2009 and Tea Parties all across America will reinvigorate that American and Patriotic spirit; one that demands respect for individual rights and property. As the bailouts spiral out of control, we are forced to fund failed banks. With foreclosures on the rise, we are made the collateral of reckless spending. And, when the bills come due, the IRS knocks on the door of “self-responsibility”.

This July 4th there will be a national effort to bring the Campaign for Liberty to the public and sign them up as members of CFL.

Let's meet at Memorial Park at 12 PM for a BBQ picnic and enjoy each other's company, some food and make CFL signs and then around 3 PM we can caravan over to the Rose Bowl. We'll set up a table there, sign wave, pass out CFL flyers, pocket Constitutions, sell "The Revolution: A Manifesto" and most importantly sign people up as members of CFL!

Our country really needs us. Let's make this a truly patriotic 4th of July!

Let's educate the people on this most patriotic of days about Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty and the principles it represents.

Let's Ring the Liberty Bell!

We'll hold our January meeting in a conference room at Bill Johnson's office. We'll discuss topics such as the following:

-Stop Real ID in California
-Ron Paul Book grassroots distribution project
-Tax Day '08
-Bill Johnson for Judge
-More of your ideas and projects...
-Screening of movie: "Network"

We will have Real ID petitions to sign and take away to gather signatures. There will also be t-shirts for sale and copies of "A Foreign Policy of Freedom" by Ron Paul and "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin.

Come watch a seminal classic which was way ahead of its time in questioning the media and its mind conditioning effect on society and the elite behind them. "Network" was the first of its kind and remains a powerful film. Your jaw will drop when you see its spot on portrayal of the world political economy system.

Bill's office is in the "World Trade Center" building located at 350 S. Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles. We believe the parking garage will be open and available. However, if there is a problem, please look for street parking or consider the Marriott hotel across the street.

First, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm the new organizer for Ron Paul Meetup-121. I'm a devoted Ron Paul revolutionary and businessman in the technology industry. I live in Brentwood with my girlfriend and puppy (both ardent Ron Paul supporters). My goal is to ensure this group lives on to become part of a major national political force and to advance the cause of liberty in America.

I am calling this meeting for the following reasons:

1. Retention: I want you all to stay in this group because we have much to do. The revolution is just getting started!
2. A New Mission: I want us all to determine the future of the group and its purpose together. I want to use this meeting to discuss everyone's ideas on what we can do moving forward.
3. Feedback: If you can't attend, please write me with suggestions for a readjusted mission so I can include them in the agenda for the meeting. I would also like to hear from you all with any other issues/concerns/feedback.
