Our Meetup's mission is to facilitate supporters of Ron Paul's Presidential campaign who live in and around Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village by providing them with an effective means for both sharing their ideas and coordinating their efforts on local projects.
Our current project is spreading the Freedom issues of Ron Paul to local college students in the area, first at Moorpark College. We have a top-notch speaker lined up and are seeking a venue for the Fall semester.
If you would like to participate in this exciting event, come join us!
Next we will repeat the event at another nearby college.
Also we plan to (1) participate in the campaign to DEFEAT the REAL ID ACT in California and (2) form Freedom Book Clubs to discuss Ron Paul's latest book, THE REVOLUTION: A MANIFESTO, which says:
"If we want to live in a free society, we need to break free from the artificial limitations on free debate and start asking serious questions once again. I am happy that my campaign for the presidency has finally raised some of them. But this is a long-term project that will persist far into the future. These ideas cannot be allowed to die..."
