Eight applicants have turned in their packets and now the Town of Fountain Hills invites all residents to interview the applicants for the vacant seat on the Town Council. A public forum will be held where the Mayor, current members of Council and applicants for the single vacant seat will be present to answer residents’ questions. The opening on the Council comes after former Councilmember Keith McMahan passed away last month. If present, residents will have the opportunity to submit written questions, and a moderator will then pose various questions to the applicants.
“The Town Council is pleased to invite all of the applicants to participate in the public forum and will also invite each applicant to be interviewed by the Council,“ said Mayor Jay Schlum. “We look forward to hearing more from each of these individuals.“
If you can’t attend the public forum, the meeting will be streamed live on the Town’s website at http://www.fh.az.gov... and will be available afterwards on the Town’s website as well. Here is the list of candidates. Click on a name to see their individual application packets.
