SIGN WAVING

Most of you probably met Vincent Campos( fastest flag-waver of
all time!) Saturday at our sign wave/ caravan. He recently
returned from Iraq to Fort Hood before leaving the service.
He believes that the troops at Fort Hood would respond more
favorably to Ron Paul if we go down there and show them with
CROWDS and SIGNS for Ron Paul which are also showing SUPPORT
FOR THE TROOPS. His plan is to man the 2 main gates at the noon
hour when most of the 30,000 troops leave the post for lunch.
They evidently have quite a traffic jam trying to get back on
post, so the lanes full of soldiers will be inching past the
gates with lots of time to read our messages.
Vincent has set February 20th as the day for this excursion to
Fort Hood. He is arranging the details with the post. He asked
me to ask all of you who can to SET ASIDE THAT DAY.

We will meetup at 10:30 at the K-MART PARKING LOT at the corner
of
Hwy 190 and Fort Hood St. I'm sure he will have his flag--he
asks that some of us bring flags, also. Make signs ahead of
time that are specific to supporting the troops and bringing
them home. We will divide into two groups and move to the two
main gates at 11:15.

The plan is to combine several central Texas groups and meetup
with large numbers. He was in the Austin meetup (largest one
there is), and we'll contact several other meetups.
This sounds like a great idea to me. Please be thinking up
slogans which link Ron Paul's platform with the troops. We need
specific signs that will persuade them!!
I have cd's of photos that he took while in the Green Zone in
Baghdad, if anyone wants a copy.

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD CHANCE TO INFLUENCE OUR OWN MILITARY!! The
fact that we are taking time off from work to stand there and
show support to them is POWERFUL!!! THIS is EXCITING!!!
