Great Rally

Mt. Vernon had a great rally for Ron Paul on the square today. More than twenty enthusiastic supporters waving signs and having fun. We had kids handing out literature to passing cars and a megaphone and lots of thumbs ups and toots on the horn. Thanks to the the Licking county Meetup group for helping to make it a bigger event and to the other out-of-towners who made the drive. My nine-year-old son wants to do it every weekend all year long, but perhaps we'll do another literature drop or phone bank this coming weekend and maybe another rally right before the primary on March 1st. Thoughts, anyone? Thanks again to all those who showed up and to Mike McKee who couldn't make it but donated a bunch of signs!
